How to Freeze Bananas in 5 easy steps

  1. Peel the bananas.
  2. Cut them into 1-inch slices.
  3. Place them on a piece of thick tin foil.**
  4. Place in freezer for several hours.
  5. Once they are mostly frozen transfer to a plastic bag for storage for up to 3 months.

**By placing the bananas on a double foil sheet, facilitate and makes the next steps really easy to remove the banana cuts and bag it in a zip-lock bag.

Doing this is super quick and easy. I rip off a large piece of foil, fold it over 3-4 times to make it thicker, and then create 4 sidewalls.

The foil is now stronger, resistant and holds a nice shape so it can be stored in the freezer or wash it and store in the cupboard for future use.
