Golden beets are much, much milder in flavor than red beets. When eating it, the wonderful taste will confuse many. Be prepared to wait or use a slow cooker, as they take time.
In the end, it’s well worth it because they are delicious.

What’s golden beet nutritional value?
Like many plants and vegetables, beets, when fully grown, are packed with healthy nutrients. They have a tremendous good source of magnesium, vitamin C, folate, and fiber.

That is a very hard question, because every person is different. Even though, I like roast veggies including the golden beetroot, apparently the best way is to steam them.
Roasted Golden Beet Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb. golden beets
- 2 T. dark brown sugar
- 2 T. olive oil
- 3 T. balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Begin by cleaning the beets with a small brush -then cut off the tops.
- Place beets on a baking sheet and roast in a 375° oven until fork tender, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on the size of the beets.
- Cool the beets and slip skins off when the beets can be handled. Cut in 1/2-inch pieces.
- Combine the remaining ingredients and toss with the beets. Serve immediately.
