Kiwi Fruit

What is it?

Kiwi Fruit is oval in shape, has a brown furry skin, and is about the size of an egg. Inside they are green, white, and black. You can eat everything inside the kiwi expect the skin, which wouldn’t fast very good.  Kiwifruit are sweet and delicious in flavor.  They are soft in texture.

Where does it grow?

Kiwifruit is grown in Italy, New Zealand, Chile, Greece and France, according to the Food and Agruculture Organization of the United Nations (FAOSTAT). Kiwi fruit grows on a vine, similar to a grape vine.
